BEIJING, Sept. 12 (Xinhuanet) -- Eastern European countries have resisted a German push for them to take more migrants. On Friday, Germany's foreign minister pressed his Czech, Hungarian, Polish and Slovakian counterparts at a meeting in Prague to show more solidarity.
Frank-Walter Steinmeier said the migrant influx could be the biggest challenge in the EU's history. This comes amid growing concern over the treatment of refugees in Hungary, which has vowed to arrest anyone crossing the border illegally from next week.
