Exclusive interview with Vanuatu prime minister

BEIJING, Sept. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- Vanuatu's Prime Minister Sato Kilman was among the world leaders visiting China this week. His visit comes during the 70th anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression as well as the World Anti-Fascist War. Our reporter Su Yuting spoke with the Prime Minister for more on his view of the V-Day 70th anniversary as well as China-Vanuatu ties.

Q1: Together with President Xi Jinping and other heads of state and government, you attended the military parade and other commemorative activities. What's your impression of what you saw? What do think is the meaning of the ceremony?

Q2: Vanuatu also sent representative teams to participate in the military parade. Why did your country make the decision to dispatch the Mobile Force? What's the significance of doing so for the two countries? ”

Q3: China was a main battlefield in Asia during WWII, going through several important battles that led to the surrender of the Japanese in 1945. How do you assess China's role in defeating Fascism? ”
