BEIJING, Sept. 2 (Xinhuanet) -- China's men's national team is busy getting ready for its second 2018 World Cup qualifying group match.
China is in Group C and is preparing for its next game, at home in Shenzhen, where it will face Hong Kong.
China made a great start in their campaign to qualify for the World Cup when it thrashed Bhutan 6-0 in its opening game.
Hong Kong has also been looking good, and comes into the match on the back of two straight victories.
Hong Kong sits on top of Group C, with six points, after victories against Bhutan and the Maldives.
Qatar were considered to be the main rivals for China, but now Hong Kong is posing a great threat.
For Alain Perrin's players, winning is the only option; they will also hope to improve the team’s goal difference.
