BEIJING, Aug. 31 (Xinhuanet) -- Ahead of the big day in Beijing, overseas Chinese residing in Germany offer their best wishes for its success.

"Overseas Chinese all love our motherland very deeply. Though we are outside China, our hearts are connected with China. We care for the motherland every day. We are looking forward to the parade on September 3rd to mark the 70th anniversary of victory in the China's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. We wish for China's prosperity and strength," said Luo Dianying, Overseas Chinese in Germany.

"70 years ago, our ancestors, all the Chinese nationals including overseas Chinese, made huge sacrifices for our people's independence and liberation, as well as for the world peace and justice. History should not be forgotten and we should cherish peace and legacy of our revolutionary martyrs. This anniversary is meaningful and very important," said Yang Qianghua, president of Overseas Chinese Public Diplomacy Asso. in Germany.

"This activity is of great significance and will have a great impact. We must cherish the legacy of our revolutionary martyrs and never forget the national humiliation. We will also embrace the future in unity and defend peace," said Fu Chunping, principal of Berlin Huade Chinese School.
