BEIJING, Aug. 10 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has pledged support for Sierra Leone in its recovery after the Ebola outbreak. Sierra Leone is Wang Yi's first stop of his three-nation Africa tour.
He met with the country's president Ernest Bai Koroma and foreign minister Samura Kamara. Wang Yi said China will stand by Sierra Leone in the post-Ebola era. He pledged cooperation in public health, mining, energy, agriculture, fishing, infrastructure and human resources, which he said would make the bilateral relationship a model for win-win cooperation.
Wang Yi also said China's help will always match Sierra Leone's national conditions and development needs, and will enhance its self-development capacity and benefit its people.
