Iranian parliament reiterates stance in negotiation

English.news.cn   2015-07-13 17:03:46

BEIJING, July 13 (Xinhuanet) --Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said if a deal with six world powers is reached, the world would see that Tehran could solve its biggest political problem through negotiation and logical argument.

"Even if the nuclear talks fail, the way we have conducted ourselves in negotiations with six world powers has showed the world we are logical.

We've never left the negotiating table and always provided the best answers," Rouhani said.

The Iranian Parliament has also released a statement reiterating the country's stance on the nuclear deal.

The statement says sanctions on the country should be removed immediately when a deal takes effect. At the same time, it supports a ban on access to Iranian military facilities and questioning of its scientists.

Pointing fingers at the United States, it says that recent negotiations have shown that US politicians are unreliable. The parliament also praised the country's delegation for defending Iran's national interests in the negotiations.
