BEIJING, July 5 (Xinhuanet) -- 25 members of the rebel Islamist group, the Al-Nusra Front, have been killed in an explosion in northern Syria.
The blast occurred at a mosque during Friday prayers in the city of Ariha, in Idlib province. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says the death toll could rise, with dozens of civilians also reported injured. Al-Nusra Front is Al-Qaeda's affiliate in Syria.
So far there are no reports on what caused the blast.
