BEIJING, May 3 (Xinhuanet) -- For an update on the impact of the Nepal earthquake on China's Tibet Autonomous Region, 26 people are confirmed to have died and 800 are injured, and three are still missing.

As relief work enters the post-disaster settlements, medical teams have carried out sanitization and disinfected drinking water. More relief supplies including televisions, power outlets, and satellite television receiving equipment have been delivered.

An official of the Tibetan regional government says the seismic intensity of the magnitude-8.1 Nepal quake in Tibet was measured up to nine degrees in the most seriously affected area, mainly in the counties of Nyalam and Gyirong.
