BEIJING, April 29 (Xinhuanet) -- The powerful quake that shook Nepal on Saturday also affected the Tibet Autonomous Region in Southwest China.
Rescuers there are continuing to clear roads and comb through the rubble, after the end of the 72 hour "golden period" - the time when it's most likely survivors will be found.
The regional government in Tibet says the current death toll in the region now stands at 25, with 4 people missing and 383 injured.
The city of Xigaze was the worst hit, with nearly 80 percent of houses having collapsed, in the border counties of of Gyirong, Nyalam and Tingri.
