BEIJING, April 24 (Xinhua) -- The 8.1-magnitude earthquake that struck Nepal was felt in Lhasa and Shigatse City in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.
According to local authorities, Kyirong and Nyelam counties in Shigatse City felt the quake the strongest. Houses collapsed in Kyirong County, and communications signals were interrupted in Kyirong and Dram counties on the China-Nepal border.
No casualties have been reported so far.
