EPL Sean Dyche on EPL trip to Liverpool

English.news.cn   2015-03-03 14:35:12

BEIJING, March 3 (Xinhuanet) -- Liverpool are suddenly the team in best form. After a struggling start to the season, the Reds are unbeaten in league play in 2015 and have taken 26 of a possible 30 points in their last run of games. They will be heavy favourites to continue their run of fine play when they battle Burnley who are currently in the relegation zone, but Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is not taken the opponent lightly.

"I rate Burnley as team. I think Sean Dyche has done an incredible job at Burnley. He is a Premier League manager who is very talented. I am always impressed when I watch Burnley. I watch the work rate. They have gone away from home and won games and performed well. They have got good results," Rodgers said.

"So collectively as a team that's their strength and obviously Sean has got them very well organised. They have got good motivation when they play. Great commitment to try and stay in the league and they are fighting. They are a team that we are wary of."

"No I think the biggest change is outside of us. We prepare properly for every game. We believe in the way we prepare and the way the team is operating. The biggest thing is the outside view," Burnley Manager Sean Dyche said.

"Obviously, the weight of expectation and pressure goes on the team that we're playing against because of who there are. In this case Liverpool had an up and down start (to the season) and a bit of a bumpy start but have found a real rich vein of form since Christmas onwards and are a very good side. Of course, all of their fans the whole of the world, as (when) we went to Chelsea, as we went to Manchester City, as we went to Newcastle. They're all thinking well they'll win and it's not that easy is it, quite obviously, for them to do that."

So here is a look at some of the other games set for the Premiership as defending champs see Man City take on Leicester, Newcastle meet Man United, QPR will compete with Arsenal, Stoke battles Everton, Tottenham, who for some reason we listed as Spurs on this board will take on Swansea and West Ham take on league leaders Chelsea.
