BEIJING, Feb. 11 (Xinhuanet) -- President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to the United States in September.
The announcement follows the president's phone call with US President Barack Obama on Wednesday, during which both leaders agreed to full preparations to make the trip a success.
A White House statement says President Obama has called for "swift work" to narrow the countries' differences on cyber issues. The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to coordinating on security challenges, including encouraging Iran to move forward with nuclear negotiations.
