BEIJING, Feb. 9 (Xinhuanet) -- Greece's new government will stick to plans to roll back austerity plans and reject an international bailout extension, new Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras announced in his first major speech to parliament since his Syriza party won elections last month.
He said Greece is unable to service its debt, and would instead seek a bridge loan. The speech came amid warnings from EU partners to stick to commitments in the 240 billion euro bailout.
Tsipras appears to be showing little intent to heed the warnings. He said his first priority to heal the "wounds" of the bailout and seek an end to the humanitarian crisis.
