BEIJING, Jan. 13 (Xinhuanet) -- Turkey's Foreign Minister says the female suspect wanted in connection with the Paris terror attacks entered Syria from Turkey on January 8th.
Video footage shows Hayat Boumeddiene, who arrived in Turkey from Madrid on January 2nd, six days before her partner, Amedy Coulibaly, killed a policewoman in Paris. She was accompanied by Mehdi Sabri Belhouchine, a 23-year-old French national.
Belhouchine's name had not appeared in connection with the attacks, and he was not on a terrorist watch list. Boumeddiene stayed at a hotel in Istanbul and went to Syria. Police say they are searching for at least one other accomplice who helped launch the attacks on Charlie Hebdo and the kosher supermarket.
