BEIJING, Dec. 26 (Xinhuanet) -- An Ebola treatment center set up by China in Liberia has confirmed the first case of Ebola since its opening on December 5th.
The patient is a young woman who came to the center on Monday with high fever, diarrhea, vomitting and nausea. She also had contact with Ebola affected patients.
In spite of active treatment at the center, the symptoms continue to worsen. On Tuesday, the woman was confimed Ebola-positive after tests. The Chinese medical team there is monitoring and treating her.
