BEIJING, Nov. 24 (Xinhuanet) -- Foreign ministers are gathering in Vienna over negotiations on Iran's nuclear program.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is heading to Vienna joining top diplomats from other world powers for the talks. A ministerial level meeting attended by Iran and the six world powers will be held after Wang Yi’s arrival to clinch the final result for this round of talks.
Iran has been engaged in the final negotiations with the P5+1 group over its nuclear program since Tuesday. They are hoping to seal a deal to end the lingering deadlock over the issue by Monday. But diplomats said a divergence still remains, and the US told Iran Sunday that it’s time to consider extending nuclear talks.
