BEIJING Nov. 21 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao has met with foreign delegates, including foreign defense ministers, attending an Asian security and defense forum in Beijing.
Li Yuanchao said the security and development of the Asia-Pacific region captues the world’s attention, and we need to build a win-win and inclusive security concept. More than 20 senior security officials have come from abroad to attend the forum. This year’s forum focuses on regional maritime security and anti-terrorism cooperation. Chinese Defense Minister Chang Wanquan, who was also in attendance, met with other defense ministers attending the forum.
The three-day forum is held by the China Association for Military Science, an important think-tank for the Chinese military.
