BEIJING, Nov. 6 (Xinhuanet) -- China's State Council issued detailed measures on Thursday aimed at supporting imports.
The council said in a statement that the government will encourage the import of high-tech equipment, key components and consumer goods.
China will also stabilize imports of resource products while encouraging companies to quicken their outbound direct investment.
China's imports jumped 7 percent in September from a year ago, though analysts warned the unexpectedly buoyant numbers could be due to one-off factors.
