BEIJING, Oct. 23 (Xinhuanet) -- Hong Kong police have arrested seven men and one woman, aged between 32 to 82 in Mong Kok district, which is now being occupied by protesters. The eight were arrested on suspicion of various crimes, including attacks on police, sexual harrassment, weapons possession and possible arson.
Police warned residents not to come to the protest areas. They also say it would be irresponsible for parents to take their children to the protest sites, where they could get hurt amid clashes.
