BEIJING, Aug. 8 (Xinhuanet) -- Most of the roads leading to the quake zones have been cleared, smoothing the way for the delivery of relief materials to the affected people.
There is however, still one major road leading to two quake-hit townships that’s blocked by rocks from the collapse of a mountainside. The blockage on Sha-Le road is about 7 kilometers away from Cuiping Township and 35 kilometers away from Lehong township.
Along the road there are also 4 villages with 30 thousand or so residents. The road surface is totally destroyed, and is currently being rebuilt by about 120 soldiers.
