BEIJING, July 27 (Xinhuanet) -- UN peacekeepers have found the second black box of the Air Algerie plane at the remote crash site in the north of Mali.
The plane was carrying 118 passengers of 14 nationalities. It went missing on Thursday, 50 minutes after taking off from Burkina Faso en route to Algiers.
French President Francois Hollande confirmed the information. He said the data and voice recorders must be analyzed as quickly as possible to determine the cause of the crash. He also announced a three-day national mourning, starting Monday. Flags will fly at half-mast on every public building across the country. Algeria’s Prime Minister, Abdul Sellal, says bad weather could be the reason for the crash and the possiblity of a terrorist act is very low.
