BEIJING, July 21 (Xinhuanet) -- The Houston Rockets all-star shooting guard James Harden landed in Beijing on Saturday. Harden joined the local youngsters in the 2014 Redbull Urban Fable, which is the biggest grassroots basketball league in China.
Welcomed by the enthusiastic fans and the kids who wore fake beared, Harden met with 30 selected local amateur players from this year's Redbull Urban Fable. As the tutor of the tournament, Harden watched the games between the youngsters and coached them on the court.
The all-star player also tutored the young players with his signature Euro-step layup and step-away shot.The 2014 Redbull Urban Fable tipped off in 10 cities around China in June and the National Final and All-Star match will be held in mid October.
