BEIJING, June 21 (Xinhuanet) -- In another match in Group E, Ecuador defeated Honduras 2-1. In the 31st minute, Honduras took the lead with its first World Cup goal from Carlo Costly.
Ecuador forward Enner Valencia equalized three minutes later, tapping in with his left foot from close range. Valencia's second goal came in the 65th minute when he out-jumped the Honduras defense to head home a left-sided free kick from Walter Ayovi.
