BEIJING, April 18 (Xinhuanet) -- The Oscar Pistorius murder trial has been adjourned until May 5.
On the last day before the break,a defence forensic expert who disputes the police’s evidence has been cross examined by Prosecutor Gerrie Nel. But they wrapped early and there will now be a break for the Easter holidays.
The athlete is no longer on the stand and looking distressed as he hears Roger Dixon being questioned.
Dixon says he believes the sequence of shots that killed Reeva steenkamp contradict the version given by the police earlier in the trail.
The prosecution is trying to cast doubt over the expert’s credentials.
Pistorius denies murder saying he thought there was an intruder in the bathroom.
