BEIJING, April 17 (Xinhuanet) -- The US says it does not see Ukraine on the brink of civil war as Russia has put it. State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said on Wednesday that any destabilization that’s going on inside Ukraine right now is a direct result of Russia’s actions.
Russian President Vladimir Putin told German Chancellor Angela Merkel over the phone on Wednesday, that Ukraine was on the verge of civil war, as the government had launched military operations to flush out pro-Russian militants in the eastern part of the country.
