BEIJING, March 24 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping has met with Dutch King Willem-Alexander for the second time in the Netherlands on Sunday. Xi Jinping says his visit to the Netherlands is successful and he has full confidence in the future of bilateral relations.
He briefed King Willem-Alexander on China’s national situation, its path of development, and the ongoing comprehensive reform. Before the meeting, they visited a tulip exhibition at Keukenhof.
Xi Jinping also met UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, and exchanged views on the Ukraine issue. Xi Jinping says the crisis should be solved in a balanced manner, and avoid going to extremes.
Xi Jinping then met President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The two leaders vowed to work closely together to build a new framework of security and cooperation in Asia.
In his meeting with Finnish president Sauli Niinisto, Xi Jinping stressed the achievements made between the two countries, and agreed to further boost cooperation.
Xi Jinping also met South Korean President Park Geun-hye. The two leaders pledged to boost efforts to reach a free trade pact, and exchanged views on the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
