BEIJING, Dec. 26 (Xinhuanet) -- The President of South Sudan has reiterated his willingness to start dialogue with former Vice President Riek Machar, as well as armed groups. Salva Kiir’s offer formed a part of his Christmas message that was aired on state television on Wednesday. He also announced that government forces have regained the town of Bor.
"I express my willingness for dialogue with Riek Machar and his group for peaceful settlement of our differences. I also extended the same message to (Murle rebel leader) David Yau Yau and all other armed groups who have taken up arms against the state.All these efforts I have taken in search for peace.
