BEIJING, Nov. 13 (Xinhuanet) -- The Third Plenum, which closed Tuesday in Beijing, resulted in a communique that's being talked about all over the world. The statement makes it clear China's mandate of deepening comprehensive reforms over the next decade.
China's future blueprint is being pored over with a magnifying glass by China-watchers worldwide. The Third Plenum communique said China will set up a central leading team for pushing through reforms.
"I think the biggest breakthrough is that reforms will be pushed through as a whole, for economy, politics, culture, society and environment. Many people think the main reforms are economic ones. But right now, it is harder and harder for China to achieve significant progress if the only focus is on economic reforms," Fan Jianping, chief economist at the State Information Center, said.
The newly-built central leading team is expected to score goals on reforms.
"Our reforms, I think, should be strong in top-level design and executed effectively. We have a leading team now. I think it will have a big impact," Chen Yulu, Adviser of Monetary Policy Committee of PBOC, said.
Analysts also point out the foreseeable difficulties facing the central leading team, such as getting rid of the faults in the system and breaking down the vested interest structure.
