BEIJING, Sept. 12 (Xinhuanet) -- U.S. White house spokesman Jay Carney says President Barack Obama has no official timeline for securing and destroying Syria’s chemical weapons stockpile. He says the US government is not interested in delay tactics, but acknowledges that putting Syria’s chemical weapons under international control will take time.
Jay Carney, White House Spokesman, said, "I don’t have a timeline to give you...and we believe it is very important to hold Assad accountable."
