BEIJING, May 3 (Xinhuanet) -- China's Long March 2-F rocket which will launch the Shenzhou-10 spacecraft has arrived at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China's Gansu province.
The carrier rocket arrived by train and will now be assembled ready for the launch mission between June and August. It will be the heaviest rocket China has ever launched.
It will take three astronauts to the orbiting Tiangong-1 space station, building on the success of the Shenzhou 9 mission last year. Its goal is to build more undertsanding of life in space.
