BEIJING, Nov. 22 (Xinhuanet) -- A suicide bomber killed at least seven people at Shi'ite processions in the Pakistani city of Rawalpindi.

Local TV said the blast happened on Wednesday night when a bomb went off in the procession in the Misrial road area of Rawalpindi.

Rawalpindi, near the capital, is the headquarters of Pakistan’s army. The injured have been taken to nearby hospitals and their condition is not known yet. Several vehicles and nearby houses were damaged.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.

This is the third sectarian blast targeting Shiite Muslims in the country over the last five hours.

Earlier, at least 3 people were killed and over 13 others were injured in twin blasts in Pakistan’s southern port city of Karachi.
