BEIJING, April 21 (Xinhuanet) -- A black box flight recorder has been recovered from the Pakistan plane crash.
The recovery has raised hopes of finding out the cause of the crash. According to Pakistani officials, the data recorder has been handed over to the Air Force for further investigation. Its also hoped that the record of the conversation between the pilot and aviation officials at the control tower at Islamabad airport might shed more light on the cause of the crash.
President Asif Ali Zardari has ordered an inquiry into the matter headed by group captain Mujahid Islam of the Pakistan Air Force. The final report is to be submitted directly to the president. One senior aviation official said there were no foreigners on board the aircraft and that all passengers and crew were Pakistani nationals.
