Pistons ends a four-game skid

WASHINGTON, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) -- Detroit defeated Indiana 119-109 on Friday to claim its first victory in five games recently.

Greg Monroe had 19 points and 15 rebounds, while Andre Drummond added 20 points. Seven players of the Pistons score in double figures.

Roy Hibbert scored 19 points for Indiana, but his team was outscored when he was on the bench in the third quarter. The Pistons made three consecutive three-pointers and took an 11-point lead into the fourth.

The pistons still lies on the third from the bottom in the Eastern Conference.
