Dwyane Wade scored 31 points for the Heat, Luol Deng added 25 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Miami led in half and was not reversed at last.
LeBron James scored 30 points for the Cavaliers, hugging his former teammates before the game and after the final buzzer. He helped the Heat win two NBA championships in last four seasons.
Miami's Chris Bosh was still sidelined by a calf injury, and the Cavaliers' center Anderson Varejao had been out for the rest of the NBA season.
