DUSHANBE, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) -- Tajikistan's national futsal team is ranked 58th place with 900 points in the newest global ranking issued Monday by a major futsal monitoring website, Tajikistan's Football Federation (TFF) said.
Tajikistan holds the 13th position in Asia. Iran is the top one having 1,602 points ahead of Japan with 1,399 points and Thailand which has gained 1,294 points.
Spain tops the world ranking with 1,915 points followed by Brazil and Italy with 1,910 and 1,746 points, respectively.
Tajik futsal team, under the guardians of coach Huseyn Shodiev, will participate in the 2016 Asian Championship qualifiers that will be held in November 2015, the TFF said.
