CHANGCHUN, China, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) - Liaoning Hengye Leopard downed Jilin Northeastern Tigers 87-85 for their 16 consecutive wins in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league here on Sunday.
Jilin Tigers trumped Liaoning Leopard during the first half with a 9-point gap, before the Leopard dominated the court from the third quarter and eventually won by a two-point margin.
Throughout the match, the foreign players of both teams made the difference as Lester Hudson who plays for Liaoning scored the game-high 27 points.
Jilin will play Tianjin in the 17th round while Liaoning take on Shandong.
