BERLIN, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- Qatar will deliver a safe World Cup soccer finals in 2022, an organizer said in an interview published on Wednesday.
"We are taking security very seriously for everyone at the World Cup. We have no doubts that security in 2022 will be impeccable," Nasser al-Khater, managing director of the World Cup organizing committee, told Germany's Sport Bild weekly.
Al-Khater also pledged that Qatar will "stage a spectacular tournament that will exceed all expectations".
