NAIROBI, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Kenya is targeting top 80 position in FIFA rankings in the next two years, soccer officials said on Wednesday.
Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President Sam Nyamweya said Kenya has never gone beyond the 90 FIFA ranking mark, and that it is time the country strived to compete with the best in the world.
"We will put systems and structures in place to end our dilly-dallying in the region of 100 and above," Nyamweya said in Nairobi. Harambee Stars are currently ranked 111th in the world and 29th in Africa.
