MANAUS, June 15 (Xinhua) -- Samuel Eto'o is set to miss Cameroon's World Cup Group A match against Croatia at the Arena Amazonia stadium on Wednesday with a right knee injury.
The striker has not trained for the past two days after aggravating a problem he first suffered while playing for Chelsea last month.
"The doctors confirm! I would probably not be able to play the match on Wednesday due to an injury on my knee causing me pain," Eto'o wrote on Twitter.
The 33-year-old is also in doubt for Cameroon's final group match against Brazil on June 23.
The African team are currently third in Group A after a 1-0 loss to Mexico in their opening match.
