TEHRAN, April 2 (Xinhua) -- Iran' s Sepahan soccer team was held to a scoreless draw by Al Ahli of the UAE in Group D of the AFC Champions League, local news agency reported on Wednesday.
"It was a good match. Both teams created a number of good chances but at the end, the match ended in a draw," Sepahan coach Zlatko Kranjcar said in the post match news conference on Tuesday.
"I think we can still qualify for the next stage if we win our two remaining matches," the Croat coach was quoted as saying by Tasnim news agency.
The draw leaves Group D wide open, with Ahli at the top with six points, followed closely by Al Sadd and Al Hilal on five points each, while Sepahan have four points.
