BERLIN, March 7 (Xinhua) -- Seven-time Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher remains in the process of waking up, said his manager on Friday.

"Michael is still in the wake up phase. The situation has not changed," manager Sabine Kehm said in a statement.

Schumacher was placed in an artificial coma in a Grenoble hospital after the 45-year-old severely injured his head in a skiing accident at the French resort of Meribel on December 29.

"Any medical information published which is not confirmed by the team of doctors treating Michael or his management has to be considered as not valid," added Kehm.
