WASHINGTON, March 4 (Xinhua) -- The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Philadelphia 76ers 125-92 on Tuesday thanks to the 42-point performance from Kevin Durant and the triple-double show from Russell Westbrook.
It was the 15th straight loss for the 76ers, longest since they lost 15 consecutive games in 1994, and the third straight victory for the Thunder.
Durant enjoyed his 10th 40+ game in the season on 14-20 shooting. Westbrook got his eighth "triple-double" in his career with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists in 21 minutes.
Serge Ibaka and Reggie Jackson contributed 14 points apiece for the Thunder. Perry Jones added 12 points.
Veteran forward Caron Butler played in Thunder's uniform for the first time, bagging two points and five rebounds in 26 minutes.
James Anderson finished with a team-best 20 points for the 76ers. Byron Mullens and Michael Carter-Williams had 15 and 14 points respectively.
The 76ers would next face the Utah Jazz, and the Thunder would encounter the Phoenix Suns.
