ROME, March 1 (Xinhua) -- Roma saw their home run of eight consecutive wins in the Italian Serie A was halted when they drew 0-0 with Inter on Saturday.
Roma threantened to score as Gervinho and Adem Ljajic caused the Inter defence considerable problems, but Inter managed to keep the score level thanks to a combination of dogged defending and poor finishing.
In the 33rd minute, Mattia Destro thought he had broken the deadlock, only to be flagged offside.
Inter gradually grew into the contest and Rodrigo Palacio went close 20 minutes in as he headed Ricky Alvarez's left-wing cross just over.
Roma then wasted another chance in the 75th minute when Miralem Pjanic was denied on a solo run by Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.
