MELBOURNE, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Novak Djokovic beat Italian 15th seed Fabio Fognini 6-3, 6-0, 6-2 to reach the quarterfinals at the Australian Open here on Sunday.
The Serbian is yet to drop a set at Melbourne Park and took the victory in 93 minutes.
Djokovic won the opening set with a solitary break. From the fourth deuce of the opening game in the second set, Djokovic won 14 of the next 15 points to surge to 4-0 and ended the contest.
Djokovic fired off seven aces and converted on six break points in the match.
The Serbian has won all four matches in straight sets and moved to 7-0 all-time against Fognini.
