MELBOURNE, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- Top seed Rafael Nadal gave Australian teenager Thanasi Kokkinakis a lesson by dismantling the wildcard 6-2, 6-4 and 6-2 to reach the third round at the Australian Open here on Thursday.
The 17-year-old Kokkinakis blazed 21 winners against the world No. 1 but his potential was still not enough to match the super-fit Spaniard, who wrapped the match within two hours.
Nadal will next play either 25th seed Gael Monfils or American Jack Sock.
