WASHINGTON, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- The Philadelphia 76ers forward Thaddeus Young and the Golden State Warriors forward David Lee were named NBA Players of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
Young averaged 25.0 points, which was ranked No.1 in the Easten Conference last week, on 56.6 percent shooting to help the 76ers win all the three games. He could get 7.7 rebounds and 3.67 steals per game along with his scoring effort.
Lee helped the Warrior to a perfect 4-0 record last week with 24.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. He had 32 points and 14 rebounds in the Warriors' 123-114 win over the Miami Heat.
