JAKARTA, March 21 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia IBF featherweight champion Daud Cino Yordan has said that he has made a good preparation and ready to defend his title against his challenger Simpiwe Vetyeka from Africa on April 14 in Jakarta, media said here on Thursday.
Yordan has practiced with sparring partners in more than 100 rounds and plans to increase the rounds as he still has more time left, investor daily reported.
He said that the practice with sparring partners would be continued by up to days before his match.
Though Yordan admitted Simpiwe Vetyeka as the strongest challengers compared with his previous opponents, he was still optimistic to defeat Vetyeka.
"I have watched the video of his fight many times. I must be alert, because if I compared him with my previous challengers, this South African fighter is the strongest," he said.
Yordan has fought for 32 times, 30 wins and two losses, while his opponent Vetyeka is the former champion of IBO.
Yordan succeeded to defend his IBO featherweight title by defeating Choi Tseveenpure in Singapore on November 9, 2012.
