JAKARTA, March 21 (Xinhua) -- The Indonesian national soccer team is to face rival from Saudi Arabia in a stadium in Jakarta on Saturday as part of Asian Cup 2014 qualifying matches, a minister said here on Thursday.
Indonesian Sport Minister Roy Suryo asked the national team to remain focus to a good play in the match on Gelora Bung Karno sport stadium.
Suryo quoted by Elshinta online as saying that the game would be a good opportunity for the Indonesian players to show their capability in front of millions of Indonesian supporters.
Previously, an official quoted by the Jakarta Post as saying that Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono planned to meet with the national team on Thursday to give advise and supports.
