YANGON, March 18 (Xinhua)-- Myanmar national team U-14 is planning to play friendly match in Thailand as a preparedness for AFC U-14 Championship 2014 Qualifiers to be hosted in Myanmar, according to Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) Monday.
AFC U-14 Championship 2014 Qualifiers is scheduled to take place from May 28 to June 3 at Wunna Theikhti Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw.
U-14 team will visit Thailand in the first week of May for the friendly matches, the sources said, adding that they will be trained in Yangon in the second week of April.
For AFC U-14 Championship 2014 Qualifiers, Myanmar U-14 team is pooled in Group E with Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines,Vietnam and East Timor.
At present, U-14 team has been under training by Japanese chief coach and three local coaches since Feb.1.
