HANOI, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has submitted to police the suspicious of match fixing at the country' s National Super Cup game, local media reported on Thursday.
The match was between SHB Da Nang and Saigon Xuan Thanh in which the SHB Da Nang won 4-0 over its rival on Feb. 23.
VFF officials said that they received text messages before the game saying that the Xuan Thanh team would lose the game with a goal difference of at least three.
During the match, some players of the losing side displayed a lack of determination during the game that led to doubtful goals, according to the report of VFF.
